Preheat oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
In a bowl, mix together the flour and cottage cheese or Greek yogurt until smooth.
Transfer mixture to a lightly floured surface and knead briefly to form a smooth ball.
Divide the dough into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball, poke a hole in the centre with your fingers and gently stretch to form a ring.
Place bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds or your favourite topping.
Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Let cool slightly before serving.
