A delicious and balanced breakfast showcasing juicy, in-season Ontario peaches. This parfait combines protein, fibre, and good carbohydrates — perfect for starting the day off right!
In a small frying pan, sauté the peach slices, oat flakes, cinnamon, and maple syrup over medium heat. Cook for about 3 to 5 minutes, until the peaches are tender and golden, and the oats become slightly crispy. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
In a glass or small jar, place half of the Greek yogurt, then half of the peach and oat mixture. Repeat the layers for a nice visual effect.
Enjoy immediately to take advantage of the hot-cold contrast.
